Bike Patrol

A day with Jonathan Duvillard, head of the security patrol on the MTB tracks

« The first thing we do before opening the Domaine is a reconnaissance of the DH and enduro tracks to make sure that they are in a good state and there is nothing that may endanger bikers.  It also means we can target any of the zones that need immediate attention.”

“Maintenance of the tracks is one of our main activities.  We are responsible for digging out the tracks again and raking them.  We also have to cut, trim and clear overgrown branches and repair the modules if needed.  We also check that the signposting is clear and undamaged along all the circuits.”

“Welcoming and informing bikers is our most important mission.  We spend a lot of time exchanging and gathering suggestions from users to constantly improve and develop the Domaine.”
