Culture is everywhere and the more we seek, the more we find.
La Clusaz has a generous palette of culture from the artistic, musical to poetic. Fill up on culture right through the summer and to the autumn with a large choice of events and activities.

SHAKE YOUR TAIL FEATHER IN THE ALPINE PASTURESAfter an astounding success last summer, the team from Radio Meuh are back for a second edition. They are following with the same idea: you bring the saucisson and we deal with the music !
Le Champ des Platines, is the art of mixing aperitifs in the mountains with sundrenched tunes, all you need to do is sit back and enjoy:
- 4 pastural evenings of music on 1 and 20 July, 18 August and 18 September,
- 4 different spots, each one more stunning than the last,
- DJs on the turntables to get your toes tapping in the high grass.
It started with a bang on the 1 July on the Crêt du Merle and we’re counting on you to let your friends know about the next.
CLASSICAL MUSIC OUT IN THE OPENWe don’t have an auditorium in La Clusaz, but we have a better option ! From 21 to 31 July, the Beauregard Plateau is a natural stage and welcomes the crème de la crème of classical music.
The mountain takes on its finest allure, with concerts overlooking Mont Blanc and musical themed hikes. If you think Classical music is old and stuffy, you haven’t experienced this !
THE SOUND OF THE TRADITIONForget all about old-fashioned dancing and waltzing to the sounds of the accordion. We are bringing it all up to date with the Alps Music Festival from 27 to 29 August. Internationally renowned traditional alpine musicians flock together to learn, share, discover and more importantly to have a good time !
Learn about alpine culture with the concerts and muscally-themed hikes over the peaks of the Aravis with the alpine horn, harmonica, accordion and yodelling. The festival takes place every two years, don’t miss out:
WHATELSE APART FROM MUSIC ?In between different concerts, you can take a stroll, but that’s not all, you can admire the many photos exhibited along the paths throughout the valley.
For a trip back in time, we advise the Hameau des Alpes. A hundred years of history is waiting for you to learn about life in the village before tourism.
Discover picture-postcard alpine views from around the Confins Lake. We have specially selected photos by Clément Hudry, our favourtie photographer to display here. Feel the freshness of winter in his photos of skiing and winter landscapes.
If you thought trailrunning was a recent invention, you would be far off the mark. Our Bélier trail is celebrating its 35th anniversary and to celebrate the event we will be exhibing photos from the archives on the Beauregard Plateau. The exhibition starts as you arrive on the Beauregard cable care and takes you all the way to the Matins Clairs, passing by the Farm of Lorette.
So… Where are you going to start ?
