This winter, we prepared you a lot of surprises!
As every year, La Clusaz reinvents itself to make you live unforgettable experiences!
FUN NEW FEATURES
The blue piste of the Envers, which delights young and old skiers alike every winter, becomes educational.
Following an important thematic work, these 2.5 kilometres (for 250m of difference in altitude) of descent will now be the opportunity to be made aware of the local fauna thanks to a fine mix of treasure hunt, fun activities and information. In order to get to the bottom of the subject, everyone will also be able to understand the history of agropastoralism in La Clusaz through the work of the farmers, their actions on the mountain environment and of course the history of the Reblochon Farm.
Access with a ski pass.
The famous Merle de La Clusaz track will now be illuminated at the end of the day. This lighting will notably be used to enjoy skiing at nightfall but also to take part in theme evenings based on snow sports (e.g. "le paret").
Finally, fun artistic animations around colour where the slope will be used as the canvas for a painting will end up marvelling night-time skiers. Tuesdays until 9pm (evening rate). Saturdays and Sundays until 7pm (day pass).
From 19 December 2020.
FESTIVAL: THE "AVANT-PREMIERES" OF LA CLUSAZ
From 11th to 25th November 2020, La Clusaz presents its Previews: a selection of the best films "made in La Clusaz" to be savoured without moving from your sofa!
The principle is simple, during 3 weeks, we will make you discover or rediscover films selected by us, every Wednesday at 8pm. The films will be available online for 48 hours only!
Young rookies, experienced riders, fun, good sound, quality images and above all lots of exclusives, in short this is the event not to be missed.
GREENER HYBRID GROOMERS
The snow groomer, the main tool in the preparation of the skier's joy every day, is getting greener in La Clusaz.
To limit fuel consumption and to reinforce the resort's desire to move towards more sustainable development, the first hybrid groomer will be used this winter. Those that cannot yet be changed will be equipped with the Snowsat system, which manages the production of artificial snow and thus limits water consumption on the resort.
A Master Restorer for several years now, which certifies the use of raw and local products, La Ferme wants to go even further to have a lesser ecological impact. This year, the team is starting a drastic work to reduce its waste and valorise it as much as possible.
For example, by offering breakfast buffets to avoid waste, reducing the number of suppliers for fewer delivery trucks, or by recovering oil and organic waste to send to a methane production plant. On the menu side, the share of seafood meat and fish will be reduced to achieve a 90% reduction in quantities.
A taste of local flavours that does not impact on nature !
The Chefs of the restaurant Le Coeur make every effort to offer quality products purchased from local suppliers.
To help you discover the different professions of taste, the restaurant offers times for exchanges and meetings between craftsmen and holidaymakers at the 5* hotel Le Coeur du Village.
An opportunity to enter the 5* hotel Le Coeur du Village and to get to know the products that will be on our plates.
LE CHALET DES JOUX : THE CUISINE THAT COMES FROM THE GARDEN
Completely renovated, this chalet, set in the middle of the slopes, is set in a wild landscape. Despite this grandiose environment, between the Etale and Borderan mountains, with a view of the Aravis mountain range and the village of La Clusaz, the Chalet des Joux shines by its simplicity.
Two very modern flats in light woods welcome guests who can enjoy this preserved and comfortable atmosphere as well as the famous cuisine of Romand, the host of the place who runs the eponymous restaurant on the ground floor. Products sometimes grown in the adjoining garden and always local. A delight for the eyes and the taste buds.
The Christmas holidays are the ideal time to see all the members of one's dear family again: the grandchildren who have grown up, the grandparents who are even older (
a little less young), the cousin who introduces (again) a new boyfriend, the brother-in-law and his immoderate passion for good bottles...
In short, after this complicated year, it is really time to take stock of everyone's situation.
And what better place than the magical setting of a large wooden chalet in the middle of the fir trees, with a view of the snow-covered mountains of La Clusaz?
While the Pestacles du Père-Noël animate the village, take advantage of an all-inclusive offer from 441 €.

In this special year, La Clusaz is doing everything to welcome you in the best possible conditions.
To ensure that the freedom to be in the mountains remains a pleasure, the ski lifts will provide ground markings in the queues to respect social distancing, the wearing of masks by all members of staff, the provision of hydro-alcoholic gel at each lift and daily disinfection of the gondolas and seats.
These gestures allow the resort to be open in its entirety so that everyone can enjoy their holidays to breathe and decompress.
