At an altitude of 1720 m, at the foot of the Pointe Percee (2750m), the highest peak in the Aravis range, with several mountain restaurants and summer farms whose architecture is unique in the department, and an unbeatable view of the Aravis mountains.

Mountain lake
A 5 hour walk (return trip) from Chinaillon will take you to this mountain lake lying in a gulley at the foot of the arête between the Pic du Jalouvre, the Buclon and the Aiguille Verte.

Hike up to meet Virginie, the alpine pasture farmer and taste a 100%-local goat cheese. Located at a 1675 metres of altitude, this alpine pasture can be reached after an easy hike (1h30 return hike) starting from the top of the chairlift.

Mountain pass
The Col des Aravis is a mountain pass in the French Alps that connects the towns of La Clusaz in Haute-Savoie with La Giettaz in Savoie. At 1486 m. it is the lowest pass in the Aravis Range of mountains.
